Processing Capabilities for Stainless Steel Pipe, Tube, and Strip
YES Stainless International provides in-house processing for stainless steel pipe, tube, and precision strip, so your order arrives with ASME/ASTM qualified specifications and premium quality.
Overview
YES Stainless International manufactures and processes stainless steel pipes, tubing, mechanical tube, and precision strip for global industrial and architectural use. Our core portfolio includes ASTM A312 pipe, ASTM A213 seamless tube, ASTM A269 general-service tubing, ASTM A270 sanitary tubing, ASTM A249 heat-exchanger tubing, and ASTM A554 tube. We also produce precision stainless steel strips to ASTM A240/A480 with tight control of thickness, width, and hardness.
Pipe sizes follow ASME B36.19M in schedules 5S, 10S, 40S, and 80S, typically in 304/304L and 316/316L. Products are supplied annealed with AP or BA surfaces, with cosmetic finishing for A554 and sanitary Ra targets for A270 when specified. In-house capabilities cover TIG pipe welding, ID/OD tube polishing, pickling and passivation, solution annealing, and precision strip slitting, so quality and lead time stay under one roof. Each order can include EN 10204 3.1 traceability, dimensional checks, and integrity testing, with buyer-appointed third-party inspection supported. processing services at yes Stainless International

Tube Welding
Smooth, leak-tight seams for stainless steel tube and pipe, meeting ASTM standards.

pickling and passivation
Remove heat tint and scale, then restore the passive layer for stronger corrosion resistance.

annealing
Solution annealing for stable strength and formability; heat treatment charts available on request.

tube polishing
Exterior finishes from Grit 180 to 600 mirror;
interior Ra 20, Ra 25, or Ra 32 when specified.

precision strip slitting
Ultra-thin stainless strip slit to width with low burr;
target ID, OD, and coil weight for clean payoff.
How it works

1. Share your ITP/PO
Send the specification list (tests to witness, sampling level, acceptance criteria, reporting format).

2. Nominate an inspector
We coordinate with SGS, TÜV, BV, Intertek, or your appointed firm to agree on the plan and site agenda.

3. Prepare samples & fixtures
We stage material by heat/lot, identify test pieces, and ready calibrated rigs and gauges.

4. Conduct witness testing
The inspector observes PMI, dimensional/visual, NDT, hydrostatic, mechanical, and IGC tasks per your plan.

5. Issue reports & release
You receive third-party certificates, EN 10204 3.1 MTC, raw data, photo/video evidence (when requested), and packing/marking lists with traceability.

FAQs
1. Do you process material that we supply to you
No. These services are provided for stainless steel pipe, tube, and strip that we manufacture and supply.
2. Which standards do you follow
Work is aligned to the relevant ASTM product standards, for example A312 for pipe, A269 or A213 or A249 for tubing, A270 for sanitary tubing, and A240 or A480 for strip. Your PO and ITP define the exact scope.
3. What inspections are available
Standard inspection includes visual and dimensional checks. On request, we can provide penetrant testing, radiography, ultrasonics, eddy current, hydrostatic testing, Ra measurement, and PMI.
4. What are typical lead times and MOQs
Lead time depends on grade, size mix, finish, and inspection plan. Share your specification, and we will confirm a firm schedule with the quotation. We support both trial runs and full container programs.
5. Can you coordinate third party inspection
Yes. You appoint SGS, BV, TÜV, or your preferred agency. We coordinate access, samples, and documents, and the report is issued directly to you.
6. How do I request a quote
Tell us the standard, grade, size, length, tolerance, surface finish, inspection plan, quantity, destination, and preferred Incoterms. Our team will confirm feasibility and provide a detailed offer.
