1. What OD × wall ranges are available for sanitary service?

Standard ASTM A270 covers up to 12 in (300 mm) OD. We commonly supply ½”– 4 ½’’ OD for hygienic systems, but larger sizes can be produced on request.

2. Can you guarantee ID/OD Ra targets (e.g., Ra 20 / Ra 25 / Ra 32) and provide measurement records?

Yes. We meet specified ID/OD Ra targets and provide roughness test reports with heat/lot traceability. Approximate metric equivalents: Ra 20 µin ≈ 0.50 μm, Ra 25 µin ≈ 0.63 μm, Ra 32 µin ≈ 0.80 μm.

3. If we specify Grit 180/200/320, what is the approximate Ra expectation, and is electropolish available?

Typical correlations (process-dependent): Grit 180 ≈ Ra 0.6–0.9 μm, Grit 200 ≈ Ra 0.5–0.8 μm, Grit 320 ≈ Ra 0.2–0.4 μm. Electropolish (EP) is available and can further reduce Ra and enhance cleanability.

4. Do you offer inner weld bead removal and smoothing for welded tubes?

Yes. We provide ID weld-bead removal and smoothing/polishing to achieve sanitary flow and your specified roughness.

5. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our stainless steel pipes and tubes are typically supplied in 6 m lengths. To reduce damage risk and optimize freight, we recommend a full-container load of about 20 MT. However, we also accept smaller orders. Share your size mix and destination, and we will propose safe packing and the most economical shipping plan.
