Stainless Steel Pickling Service
YES Stainless International provides controlled stainless steel pickling for our stainless steel pipes and tubes to remove weld heat tint, fabrication oxides, and surface contamination, then rinses, neutralizes, and dries to protect the finish. The service covers ASTM A312, A554, A269, A270, and A249 pipes. When specified, we can follow recognized industry methods (e.g., the practices described in ASTM A380/A967) and issue a pickling/passivation statement with your lot and heat numbers. Each order ships with clear marking, photos or reports as requested, and packaging that prevents re-staining in transit. Buyers use this service to restore corrosion resistance, prepare for polishing or sanitary validation, and maintain batch visual consistency.
Why Choose Our pickling

FAQs
1. Will pickling change dimensions or mechanical properties?
Under controlled parameters, dimensional change is negligible. We set the time and temperature to avoid over-treatment.
2. How do you prevent re-staining in transit?
After drying, we apply export packaging cover or end caps and use moisture control. Clear labels simplify receiving and storage.
3. What are typical lead times and MOQs?
Lead time depends on size, quantity, and documentation scope. Share your specification and we will confirm the schedule and minimums with the quotation.
4. What will the surface look like after pickling?
The result is a clean, uniform metallic surface. Pickling is not a cosmetic polish; if you need No.4/HL or mirror appearance, we can prepare the surface for subsequent polishing or electropolishing.
